DAY 4 2:30PM - 6:30PM
2:30pm
Entered "The Ditch," pretty ominous right? It is formally known as the Alligator-Pungo River Canal (formally know as in that's its real name, it ain't pulling a Prince on you...does that make sense?) It is basically a 20 yard wide ditch that runs for a really really really long time. It is incredibly boring.
The only bright side was that the sun was hitting it in such a way that while driving it looked like a bunch of camera flashes were going off. I stood up and bowed...weird thing to do, but i was going ditch mad.
"Doesn't remind Me" - Audioslave - 35 35.961 76 13.165
4:30pm
Ditch Exit! What's really weird about this whole trip is the sunlight. It looks like it is always morning. It's 4:30pm and it looks like i should roll over and try to go back to sleep.
"Freedom Hangs Like Heaven" - Iron & Wine - 35 33.011 76 27.947
6:30pm
Anchored in Green Point, a Mr. Hank Young is cooking up a storm and should provide a good spread. Looking back it was unbelievable, i think it was Chicken Marseilles.
Song is a little bit difficult to come up with right now but,
"Message In a Bottle" - The Police (or if your a reggae fan Matisyahu) - 35 26.058 76 32.962
