Day 2

DAY 2 - 2:00AM
Really cold and fucking annoyed. I forgot to mention in the log I was writing why...but, luckily for you my intrepid readers i can remember!!!

We were going to anchor in Norfolk,Va. for the night after making a run down the Chesapeake Bay. At about 2:00am when this log was originally written we were looking for the Norfolk Inlet. The Captain (Larry Holt) couldn't find it. So we ended up having to double back and find the channel markers. Then we traveled up the inlet passing by all the Naval shipyards (which i missed because it was 2am and i went to sleep). We made it to Hospital Point in Norfolk and were going to anchor. It was in the mid-30's and raining. It took 3 tries to finally get the acnhor to where it was holding and we didn't drift. Hypothermia became a very close friend after that little exercise. Then went back to sleep. Needless to say by the original post i was not a happy camper...:P
